Around Straya
Willow Brook farm is an amazing place for a holiday! We had so much fun! Our first adventure was quite a dangerous one. It was Sabbath and Papa said we could go to the animals while Mama made breakfast, so we did. When we found the animals, they were eating the grass. But one of the cows (a steer) came up to us and tried to butt us so we all ran back to the fence and got out then went back to the caravan and told Mama all about what happened.
Our second adventure is very cool we can’t wait to tell you! It was in the afternoon, and we were very excited because we were going on our first four-wheel-drive track together. We started it was about one hour long we had a good time until the car started getting bogged, so we all got out of the car and had some fun then we got back in the car and went the other way and the car kept getting bogged, so papa put the tires down and we prayed and tried again, and it worked! We were very thankful for that. We kept driving and it was getting late, so we decided to go to Moore River estuary, so we did, and it was so pretty. after that all sandy we went back to Willow Brook farm, and we fed the animals and that’s the end of our adventure.
Parents Corner
Willow Brook Farm is an amazing caravan park near Gingin and only 25 minutes from the Moore River Estuary. Very animal friendly and the park is run by a family. They provide scones every Sunday morning for everyone for free and conduct animal feeding for all the kids every evening. We really enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it for a couple of nights. It is also 5 minutes from the Gingin observatory, which we did not end up going to. We decided we lived nearby, and we can always go when we get back from our trip.
Great stories Hadassah! Glad you escaped the steer and the bog!!
We will put this one on our list of camps to do. Xx
