Mossman

After the Daintree we went and spent the day in Mossman. We saw that there was a beautiful place called Mossman Gorge. We had seen so many gorges that we were not sure we wanted to see it, but since it was very close by we thought we would. We were very glad we made the effort. It was a very beautiful spot and a great place to swim. We just jumped in in our clothes as the weather was so warm. We regretted it though when we took the bus back to the entrance because the air conditioning was on in the bus.

We learned that the swimming currents were very unpredictable in the gorge and that many people had lost their lives there. You actually can’t get up to the gorge without taking the bus.

While we were in Mossman we caught up with Uncle Luke’s Mum and he grandchildren. We had a nice time playing with them in the playground and they gave us some balloons.
